Pool Fun - Summer 2010 Swim Lessons

This has been my long awaited fun activity and had been asking mom to take to swim lessons. My cravings grew even more whenever I read 'Lets go the Beach with Dora' and pretend to swim by kicking my arms and legs on the air while lying on mamas lap.

Since a week, Mama had been inculcating 'You are going to swim with Ms.Andrea', and I became even more enthusisatic and couldnt wait to go to YMCA. I wore my Disney mermaid swim suit and a matching mermaid flipflops. My hair bands were also matching to my suit.

I was very much excited to see Issac, my class mate in the school. He is also my buddy in the Music class. I was more than ready to swim. I was the first person to call for, and asked to sit on the wall. Then Issac and his brother were called and then a sisters joined them.

We had a funny start with splashing water all over, and then Ms.Andrea gave general instructions on how to swim. I swam with her with my float on and off, on my front and back, with kickboards and marshmallows, blowing bubbles in the water, taking a dip by holding breath, jumping into the water, doing spider man move by holding the wall and climing up the stairs and then jumping into the pool back. I did very great and was very comfortable with all the three instructors.

Ms.Stephanie praised me a lot for doing so wonderful. Believe it or not, I was the youngest kid in the class. The other younger kids had their older siblings accompanying them. But I did very well with out anyone. I was not even eligible for this course, since I am not yet 3 yrs old. But Mama gave a strong recommendation that I have already taken a baby course in Swimming last year, and more zealous than anyone. They said they might even reject me, if dont cooperate. But I did so well, that they couldnt say no at all.

Mom took several videos of all the excercises, but unfortunately they are too large to upload. Pls see some of the pictures taken during the session.
